The Use Of A Cell Phone Spy Program Can Ease Parental Concern

By Don Aruba

The world has changed dramatically over the last fifty years, especially regarding technology. Comic book gadgets are now part of our daily lives, and smart phones can do things even the comics did not anticipate. But the equipment is difficult to secure, allowing the development of cell phone spy programs, which in some cases can even save lives.

The knowledge of how to create a system that would allow a functioning telephone to work while it is moved. The problem was in trying to devise the number of receiving stations necessary to create a blanket of reception that would accommodate travel. Back in 1947, it was simply impracticable to build them, but the notion of a consumer desire for such mobile communications was apparent.

Half a century later, the infrastructure available from the support of television and electrical cabling made the division of large areas into cells cost effective. Once built, one cell smoothly hands a moving telephone signal to the next, giving the devices the name cellular. There are still areas where these devices do not get reception, but most of the developed world is covered.

Because these portable devices rely on open-air transmissions, they are vulnerable to secret penetration, listening and recording. This provides the means to do things for good and evil depending on the intent. For the most part programs designed to take advantage of this susceptibility are meant positively, though not without controversy.

The mobile telephone makes it much easier to stay in touch with young adults and provides them with a lifeline to help at all times. It is no stretch to believe that there is far too much evil activity in the world, and the same technology that helps society also helps those who would take advantage of others. Predators lie in wait for children, whom they can access the same way a parent can.

Children now have access to an amazing amount of productive and useful information. Unfortunately, they also have access to the dark side of man, and as their judgement capabilities are still forming, their susceptibility to danger is higher. But if a parent has access to their conversations, they have the ability to make changes, provide advice and help the child.

This is a particularly challenging area for parents, just as reading a diary could cause hysterical anger, eavesdropping on discussions would as well. Nevertheless as a tool to safeguard the developing young adult, it is powerful, and can be mutually advantageous. The key is to explain to the teen the purpose of the tool, and as long as they are aware, it can even be preventative without challenging privacy.

If a child or any person is abducted, it is vitally important to act quickly, as history has revealed the worst things are usually done soon after. Being able to have a starting point from which to search, or clues to what the individual was doing before the event can save a life. Having a cell phone spy program can provide the critical clues one needs to prevent a tragedy.
