A Couple of the Games to Expect for the Kinect for Xbox

By Juan Sanchez

Kinect is one of the most enthralling game systems to come out since the first Xbox. I suspect it's only fair to speak about some of the upcoming Kinect games that've been announced for the 2012 gaming year.

There were lots of exciting announcements at this past E3 meeting. One of the games that were previewed was Star Wars Kinect. This game is going so far the closest game-players will get to feeling like a real Jedi. Through hand motions and voice activation you can turn on and shut off your light saber. Use both hands to persuade lift objects from your path and step forward for motions like force speed. It's meant to be released in April 2012.

In the fitness class for imminent Kinect games is Zumba Fitness. If you are into fitness and more importantly Zumba, you can appreciate the amount of work which has gone into this game. All the instructors have been motion captured in the studio. Their bodies and facial features have been rigorously scanned and recorded for precision. I suspect this will be the closest people will come to live Zumba in the world of games.

Another one of the approaching Kinect games that I'm anticipating is Myth the Journey. Sitting in a chair you can place your hand on the reins of your pony. Use one hand to conjure magic, and attack enemies. Square up to dismount and you can use a blade, or attack with your hands. Thru some advances hand motions you can conjure some pretty advance sorcery features.

Kinect has actually captured the gaming world by storm making allowances for video game franchises to grow in techniques unknown. Are you ready for this? Minecraft is coming to Kinect! If you're into the Indy game scene you may be excited this preferred Indy game will be making an appearance sometime early 2012.

Finally Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. This game is going to permit some features never before heard about in the game-playing population. All the gun components can be dismantled and shared between any gun. So if you like a specific scope but it's unavailable on your favorite gun, in this game it's going to be. You can use hand or voice commands and using one hand to aim, you use the other to shoot by opening and closing the other hand. The precision looks dazzling.

Keep an eye out for these wonderful upcoming Kinect games and be sure to comment on your experiences with them.
