So far I have gone a few rooms nearby. They are just crystal clear all the time. Thanks Amazon for offering quality with great pricing. The design of earphone is so unique that I have not seen before. I purchased these wireless headphones for quiet listening late at night so I would not disturb other people. I have used the wired Sennheiser HD 414 headphones for the last 20+ years and have had zero problems with them. Both the 180's and 130's are open, so this is not explained by some type of closed environment in the 130's. It is something with the technology of the 180's that creates a slight delay in sound transmission.
They twist and adjust quite a bit to fit different size and shaped heads. The base is modern and nice looking.
They're not inexpensive, but they work (for me) really well. I purchased these for my step-father.
They just take some getting used to. All things considered, I highly recommend them. Great product! I have been using my Sennheiser RS 180 Digital Wireless Headphone System for five weeks now. The two wireless signals seem to work just fine at the same time. I'd rate these A- (4.5 out of 5) as far as wireless headphones go, and probably B+ (4 out of 5) out of any kind of headphone out there.
Once in a while there is a little pop in the sound but remember these are wireless. It enables me to listen to TV while my mate is sleeping and vice versa.
The Sennheiser RS 180 Headphones exceeded all of my requirements. There is ample room for over the ear hearing aids in the muffs if you need additional sound clarification and tweaking, but the sound quality is so great you don't really need them. Yes, but you get what you pay for. I absolutely love them. The headphones are comfortable though I would like a bit more padding spanning the entire headband. The buttons on the headphones that control power, volume and balance (handy if you have asymmetrical hearing deficits) are too small and flat. Remember this: escape is not a luxury; it is a necessity if you want to get an advanced degree in sound and mind travel. Now get out and buy these phones!

The base is sufficiently powerful to make my head bob to the beat. They're lightweight but they're a little on the bulky side which doesn't really bother me. Infrared Wireless Headphones. It could have used some kind of padding because after prolonged wear it didn't give me headaches, but definitely made the top of my head ache. Nonetheless they sound quite muddy.
