The quality of the RS-180 is pretty good. It only squeaks a little on the right side of the headset when I put them on, but after I have got them set, it does not squeak anymore. Let me just say that he hasn't found the magical area where the sounds begins to fade. One of the best features of these headphones is that they are open, so even though nobody can hear what he is listening to, he can still hear what's going on around him.
My main caveat about this is mostly about me. I have a wireless desktop, wireless mouse, and wireless keyboard.
They are very comfortable; you almost forget you are wearing them. Installation was very simple to do.
To be specific, Sound staging is quite good. Bass is full, prompt, and accurate.
I haven't encountered any interference to the headphone system caused by other appliances (wireless telephones and Wi-Fi) in my house. Nor have I encountered any interference to the other appliances caused by the headphone system. You need to go by feel, and I suppose after some time this will become easier. Regarding range, there may be some slight improvement but not dramatic.
With the 130's, which I have used for years, this does not exist. If I'm wearing the 130's and the TV is on, I only hear the sound from the 130's. If you never need the source to be on at the same time you are using the 180's, this will not be an issue for you. For me, it is very typical for the TV to be on for others while I am using the headphones.
I am very pleased with them and would recommend this model as they are updated and perfected to give the buyer a good quality for the $. The week I purchased them they were 50.00 less in price and I don't know how I lucked out, but I paid under 300.00. At the beginning, brass and voice especially sounded rather recessed and dull. But now they sound upfront as they should. I wanted wireless headphones with good battery life, sound quality, and comfort. I use these headphones for music, movies, and gaming. There are a lot of controls that take some getting used to, but once you learn where the controls are it's easy to adjust the volume, etc. These are over the ear, open style with velour pads which makes for very comfortable listening.
In a word I did not like it. You could tell it was trying to distill the 5.1 mixes down to 2 channels & frankly it did not do a good job.

About the Author:
The bass response is very good, however it seems to go crazy sometimes. I purchased mine for $24. Wireless Headphones For Computer. I do not understand why these have gotten so many reviews that are positive. For the cost I'm happy with these wireless headphones for computer. noise cancelling headphones review.
