A Game Called Happy Wheels

By Andrew Waller

A lot of people around the world play online games these days. This is one of the reasons why there are various types of games in this expanding industry. Examples being action games and strategic games, to name but a few. Most of these games are publicly labelled as "flash games" or "Java games", based on the technology used. The gaming community is more and more talking about a flash based game and want to ask everyone not talking about it "Have you played Happy Wheels?".

The Flash-plug in are well-liked. Web-games utilizing this technology are graphically enhanced. This means that the participant can now play a more complex game.

If someone should be interested in playing this game everyone is talking about, they could use their internet browser to search for keywords like "Happy Wheels". Web browsers are tools that allow lots of information to become available at the click of a mouse. Once the web page for the demo has been found, one can play this limited version and build your own levels, find some general info on the game, and more.

By playing the demo the browser can decide if they like the game or not. This is just the beginning for the ones who do like it and decide to go for the real thing. The web page also contains keywords to help each player to start this adventurous journey.

Next is the options button, where one can disable the sound if they like, by pressing the mute button. There is also buttons that play around with the graphics of the game. Enthusiastic gamers might want to try these buttons, but the first-timers could decide to carry on without changing anything.

Now, for the gamers who wished they were actually game developers, there is also a tab where you can build your own level! Some even call it the ultimate challenge! Those gamers who wish to save and share their creation, are invited to register at the mother-site of this game. Registration doesn't cost anything and you are now part of a community who can share their unique levels with one another and take a vote on it.

To make it really easy to enjoy the game the developers kept the controls really simple. One doesn't even need extra gaming equipment, because all the controls are situated on a standard keyboard. Right hand on the arrows to control accelerating and decelerating and for leaning forward and leaning backward. The other actions are all controlled by the left hand and the keys are grouped together in such a manner as to make it as easy as possible, and therefore as enjoyable as possible.

The credits tab is a must see on this website as it contains very funny comments on people who helped (or not) during the making of this increasing popular game worldwide. For the keen ones who just tore through the demo and maybe made up some levels themselves, the full version lies ahead. If the answer on "Have you played Happy Wheels" is yes, the rest of this adventure can be found when visiting the main web page, for which the link is showed on the demo page.
