A business is needed to have a strong internet presence, especially in local web directories to capture the market it needs.
In relation to having a strong web presence, aggressive participation and contribution to niche market forums is encouraged. Being active in the virtual world will sooner or later mean more activity in the real world in terms of increased traffic and inquiries and hopefully, sales. Hand in hand with forum participation can be article submission to blogs for more impact. Email marketing can also be tapped as a tool to increase marketability and market share.
And of course the company employees should be computer literate and able to multi task. By having more skilled employees in the company the less need it is to hire more. Likewise, employees who have more than one skill, or able to do more jobs at a time; will greatly reduce running cost for the company.
