How To Prevent Computer Virus Attacks

By Stewart Copstead

The world is more interconnected nowadays than before. Research show that there are more than one million computers connected to the internet.1.5 Million to be precise.

As the spread of internet interconnectivity is taken to mean good news, there is the danger posed by the same. That of wide and fast spread of computer viruses.

The best time when the viruses are sure to spread is when people are browsing the internet. Viruses can spread fast even through a safe system which has been compromised.

It is easy to detect computer viruses. Should you notice that your computer is becoming slower than the normal speed, know that there is a possibility that your computer is infected with a virus. Such viruses aim at controlling the whole computer so they will try and occupy as much space as possible.

Viruses are very notorious at times defying even the warning signals set by the Microsoft Word or Firefox which informs the computer of any invention. They will attack any computer at the slightest chance.

Since it's difficult to edit a file while it is in use, a smart virus will corrupt the computer to start on its own so that it can corrupt the files when the comp starts. hats why its called smart virus since it will look for ways to get to your files by all means.

No cause for alarm should you realizes that your computer is under viral attack. There are many programs in the market meant for virus treatment.

From the first incidence of a virus attack, you will be safe if you run the antivirus program immediately to safeguard the computer from another attack or from giving the virus time to operate underground making it hard to remove it in the future.
