Speedier and More Secure Computing with the Motorola SBG6580 Modem

By Tabitha K Kitson

Just like lots of computer users Todd didnt know the way to improve the rate on his PC network any more. He had a tiny office and he and his corp employees had not only P Cs but also computers and printers to include in their computing set up. One of his employees advised they buy a new cable modem.

He revealed he and his girl has bought the Motorola sbg6580 cable modem and they were actually pleased with the new performance of their PC. Todds office already used a wire service provider for their Internet and they had a cable modem from the company.

They had modified to wire service 2 years ago to improve the velocity of the internet for the office and it had definitely improved but now, because of additional computing devices lack of speed was impacting the output of the office. So Todd purchased the Motorola sbg6580 and was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to install and set up.

The directions that came with the modem informed him the placement of the cable modem in the PC network is critical. You must decide where you would like to put your new modem, it has to be near your main PC and the locale of the cable input. So Todd had to find his wire input and then position the modem and his Computer so that they were expediently close to one another.

Todd needed to be careful to collect the a few wires from modem, PC and cable together and tie or restrain them so that there's no stress on them to tug the modem down. One thing more that was important was to permit a clear airflow around the modem to permit it to perform in the right way. If it it is covered with papers or documents it can overheat.
