Tips to Maximize Your Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome Usage

The latest versions of Mozilla Firefox and of Google Chrome are both considered must-have internet browsers. The following are some tips on how you can maximize your experience of these popular web browsers.

With Google Chrome, you can set the home page by clicking the 'Settings' menu and choosing the 'Basics' option. If you regularly check several websites every day, it's ideal to indicate several home pages to save some time trying to open each page individually. This way, you can easily open multiple pages on startup. These pages will be automatically opened according to the order you listed them. In connection with this, you can also save your favorite site as a desktop app. You simply need to click the Chrome settings icon again, click on 'Tools,' and choose 'Create application shortcuts.' This way, you can easily access your favorite site right from your desktop, the start menu, or on your quick launch bar. If you want to view a site and you don't want it to appear in your internet browsing history and cookies, you can choose to open a site in an incognito window. You can open a link by right-clicking and choosing the 'Open' link in incognito window option, or you can simply Control + Shift + N.

The latest version of Mozilla Firefox also offers options for you to save up some space. For one, you can increase or decrease the size of the font on the page by pressing Control & + or Control & -, respectively. If you want the original font size back, simply press Control & 9. In connection with this, you can also adjust the size of your icons by right-clicking the empty space in front of the Locations bar and selecting Customize. You can also boost Firefox's speed and performance by clearing the download list and uninstalling older versions of Java console.

As for Google Chrome, which is one of the newest and most popular browsers these days, setting the home page is easy enough by clicking the customization menu (the small icon on top right of your browser) and choosing Settings and then Basics option. However, if you visit several websites on a regular basis, you can set multiple home pages so you can save time opening each page. Home pages will be opened according to the order you listed them. You simply have to follow the steps involved in setting the home page and add addresses you frequently visit. As for your favorite sites, you can also make them your desktop apps just by clicking the Chrome customization icon. You need to select tools and then Create application shortcuts. This will let you access your favorite site right from your desktop. You can also install shortcuts in the Start menu or quick launch bar. Chrome also offers you private web browsing. You can right-click a website and choose Open link on the incognito window option. Another easier option to do this is by pressing Control + Shift + N.

You can also save up some space on your latest version of Mozilla Firefox by right-clicking the empty space in front of the Locations bar and clicking 'Customize.' In connection with this, you can also press Control & + or Control & - if you want to increase or decrease font size. You can easily bring back the original text size of webpages by pressing Control & 9. To increase Firefox speed and performance, it's recommended to clear the downloads list and remove older Java console versions.
