Reasons Why You Need The Apple MacBook Pro Winter 2011 Notebook

By Jane Stevenson

The Apple MacBook Pro Winter 2011 Notebook is one model of computer you may be considering if you're looking for a laptop. Apple notebooks have many benefits, some of which we'll be exploring in this review, though they also tend to be pricey compared to most PC computers. If there's an Apple Store anywhere near you, you may want to look at and try an Apple MacBook Pro before purchasing one. If not, you can still find out a lot by doing your own research.

The Mac OS X Snow Leopard system is considered a very powerful operating system and it is included, along with other software, with the MacBook Pro Notebook. Included with this OS you will also discover such useful software such as iMovie, TimeMachine, iTunes, and Photo Booth. iLife is a great way to get all of your photos, music, and even your movies, quickly and conveniently put into order. Do you have a digital camera or a smart phone that you use to take pictures? If so, it is a simple matter to download them into the MacBook and share them with everyone using iPhoto. GarageBand is a nice program that lets you record yourself and your friends singing or playing instruments.

Apple has introduced an updated operating system called Lion. If you have purchased your MacBook Pro recently, you may find Lion already installed instead of the Snow Leopard system. If you do happen to buy a system that still has Snow Leopard, you can probably find a free download for Lion. Lion became available in July, 2011. Connectivity options are very important for owners of a Notebook computer and the Apple MacBook Pro gives you several choices. You will be able to stay connected almost anywhere with the wireless features thatyou can choose from with your MacBook. It won't matter where you want to work - at work, at home, or at your local bookstore. It just takes pushing a button in order for the MacBook Pro to automatically access the best network for your location. You will also have built-in bluetooth technology. This makes it very simple to hook up with any wireless network. Are you a power user who wants to be online with your MacBook Notebook and your iPhone at the same time? The updated MacBook Pros can share a 3G connection with iPhones enabling you to use both devices together. It doesn't matter which size of Apple MacBook you buy - 13", 15", or 17" - you can stay connected worldwide from just about any location.

If you're in the market for a notebook computer, the Apple MacBook Pro is probably your best bet for portability and convenience. Price, however, is usually the main objection to getting this wonderful notebook computer. However, this is the standard as Mac computers always cost more than PCs. Unless you buy something that is refurbished, even the smallest model, the MacBook Pro, is around $1000. 15 inch and 17 inch models, though more preferable, are much more expensive. It is totally up to you, but Apple computers do have many features and benefits that may well be worth the price you pay for this computer.

The Apple MacBook Pro Winter 2011 Notebook, as we've seen in this review, continues the Apple tradition of constantly upgrading their devices. If you have an Apple MacBook Pro from last year, do you need to replace it with the 2011 model? Probably not, although that's a decision you have to make. If you haven't purchased a Mac notebook before, though, or not in a while, this Apple MacBook Pro may surprise you with all that it can do.
