The study says three industry mega trends are propelling the growth of cloud services and employment: the boom in mobile computing devices such as smart phones and tablets; the "social" trend in online services; and the growth of "Big Data" flows that require more data management services.

On cloud adoption and job growth government policies and purchasing decisions at all levels will also have a major influence. From launching a startup to expanding a business to managing a multinational enterprise ,cloud computing can have a significant impact at every key growth stage of the business life cycle and the study confirms that. Cloud computing will ultimately lead to business and job growth in certain industries.

According to a recent study commissioned by Microsoft, public and private IT Cloud Services will create nearly 14 million new jobs worldwide from 2011 to 2015. Job creation will be greatly impacted by the cloud. This technology will transform life as we know it by driving down costs, spurring innovation and create new jobs with different skill sets the world over.

Among the trends we have noticed, one is that companies utilizing cloud based collaboration software for their internal employees also will share this information with their partner and vendor base. It is all about leveraging technology to drive revenue for the business.
