Review of the best stylus pens for your Amazon Kindle

By Al Scott

The original Amazon Kindle e-reader was launched in 2007 and since then the level of popularity is growing by leaps and bounds. Now, four years later Amazon has introduced the brand new Kindle Fire, a full-color tablet featuring a faster processor than ever before that gives you the opportunity to play games, explore the internet by using Wi-Fi and watch your favorite movies on demand. If you're not sure what the new Kindle Tablet looks like, think about the Apple iPad tablets.

Lately I have been getting a large amount of requests from people who own the new Amazon Kindle Fire that are asking me to recommend the ideal stylus pen for their Kindle. I also get plenty of questions asking if a stylus pen will even work with this latest Kindle e-book readers.

Fortunately: yes, you can use a stylus pen along with the Amazon Kindle e-readers! The truth is, pretty much any stylus pen will work with the Kindle, though of course, some stylus pens are better as opposed to others.

In this post I'm going to recommend 2 different types of stylus pens that both equally work exceptionally well when using the Amazon Kindle, including the new Kindle Fire e-reader.

Just Mobile Alupen for Kindle Reader
First, I suggest the Alupen created by Just Mobile, a slick modern looking stylus pen that's compact enough to take with you anywhere and sure to never break.

Exactly why do I feel so certain that the Alupen won't break? It's because it's created from a solid block of tough-as-nails aluminum - with the exception of the rubber tip.

I believe the Alupen is easily the most attractive stylus pen on the market and it'll look fantastic matched together with your silver or black Kindle. Best of all, this stylus performs great with the Kindle!

The black rounded rubber tip on the Alupen is designed to mimic a finger tip, which gives you a very natural and familiar feel when you're using this stylus with your Kindle touch-screen.

Acase Capacitive Stylus for Kindle
Another stylus pen I would recommend is the Acase Capacitive Stylus which is a good looking black stylus which also doubles as a ballpoint pen. Unlike the modern style of the Alupen, this stylus seems like a regular pen and even includes a cap with a handy clip that enables you to keep it with you wherever you go.

This stylus pen is also the same length as an typical pen or pencil, yet it boasts an ergonomic style and design which is very pleasant to grasp and use for long periods of time.Whether you're using it to spend time playing games, explore the internet or take notes, you can rest assured that you'll never experience aches or pains in your hands and fingers.

As the Acase stylus comes in four distinct colors (Jet Black, Metallic Silver, Crimson Red and Lunar Blue) you are able to decide on the color that best matches your style. Also, I can't forget to mention the handy strap that comes with it; it plugs directly into the headset jack on your Kindle and will keep it securely attached up until you need it again.

To Summarize - The perfect stylus for your Kindle

It's shown that virtually any stylus pen will work with the Amazon Kindle, however I must advise you that there has been a large amount of substandard stylus pens released as of late. I highly reccomend you visit a website like Amazon and browse the countless reviews which have been left by buyers of various stylus pens.

As I mentioned in this posting, my personal favorite stylus pens are definitely the Alupen Stylus as well as the Acase Stylus, but there's new pens being released each week so be sure to be on the lookout for the latest and greatest products.

Since the average stylus goes for around $10 - $15 I highly recommend buying several and deciding for yourself on which is the best. After all, everybody has different tastes in design, style and shape.
