First, it is a very inexpensive piece of prestige, at less than $200. It not only costs less than an iPad and it costs less than a smartphone.
Next, its size is perfect; sufficiently small to fit in a large pocket but sufficiently little to really be portable. Is carrying around an iPad really practical?
The Kindle Fire is fast, it has the power to do what you need it to do without the sluggishness that so many compact electronic devices suffer with, a dual core processor sees to that.
But all of these reasons are meaningless if you cannot do anything on the darn thing, right? So what are you going to use it for?
