Reasons to Pre Order Halo 4

By Chase Baxter

Although it's still early to think too much about it, it's not too early to start Christmas planning for 2012! For the gamer in every family, there's no better way than to catch up on what games are going to be coming out and what games are going to be the hottest. If people want to pre order Halo 4, they need to know why it's worth it.

The franchise for the games called Halo is known by almost everyone, even people who aren't gamers. The gameplay takes place in a future version of the universe, one where humans and aliens are at war. The main protagonist is a character named Master Chief John-117, a super soldier of the future that players can easily slip into because he never reveals his face from behind his helmet.

Master Chief is joined by a sexy AI creation named Cortana who always appears as a holographic image of a female. Rated as one of the top ten most disturbingly sexy game characters by Games.net and as one of the top fifty greatest female characters in games by Tom's Games, she's more than enough to attract a heavy following. Both of these characters will have updated physical appearances in the newest installment, some due to better graphics in the game but other elements due to twists in the plot and story.

One of the key attractive changes to the game will be the focus on discovery and exploration of the world. The Forerunners, responsible for leaving large artifacts around for the alien race and others to use, will play a bigger part in how the world looks and what there is to discover. Players will have the chance to learn more about them, and more about Master Chief himself.

If all of this isn't enough of a lure to bring someone into the stores early, people need to keep in mind what's happened in previous years. Most stores who release games as popular as this will have a midnight opening to allow hard core gamers to come in for early release pickup. Halo 3, on its first day of release, sold over one hundred and seventy million dollars in copies. When Halo: Reach came out, it broke that record easily and sold two hundred million dollars the first day. Any store that has a midnight release for number four will be hard pressed to have copies on the shelves for late comers.

Pre order Halo 4 as soon as possible in order to ensure a copy is waiting under the tree for the gamer in the family. This game is going to sell big and sell fast. It's also going to be worth every penny.
